How Much Does a Home Inspection Cost?
The number one question I get asked, and rightfully so, is how much will my home inspection cost?
Each home inspector has their own pricing module. For me, I like to keep things super simple.
There are different types of inspections such as your typical home inspection, a wind mitigation inspection, and a four-point inspection.
Every once in awhile, someone will need a roof certification or a specific inspection and those will have different pricing depending on what is needed.
Every Home Inspection I perform includes:
- Pools
- Crawl spaces
- Attics and a host of other things
Check out what is included in a home inspection to see an extensive list of everything that our home inspections consist of.
If your home has a crawl space, I inspect it to the best of my ability. Sometimes there is no access or the access is too small to get in but my motto is that if I can fit, I go to.
There are three things I take into consideration when giving you a FREE Home Inspection Quote:
- Size of home
- Age of home
- Location of the property
When quoting you for a home inspection there are two sizes to your home. You have a heated/living square ft. and a gross/total square ft. Since I am inspecting the whole house and not just the living area, I go by the total/gross square ft. measurement.
Due to Central Florida being so vast an area the prices below are good for Orange, Seminole, and Volusia counties (Osceola, Polk, and Lake counties add $50 more than listed and those county’s further than these, the price will be higher to compensate for the drive time and the gas).
